Karrie Koesel is an assistant professor of political science at the University of Notre Dame. She conducted a research project, “Where Faith Thrives: The Rise of Pentecostal and Charismatic Christianity in Russia and China,” through a grant from the University of Southern California’s Pentecostal and Charismatic Research Initiative. She specializes in Russian and Chinese politics and the intersection between politics and religion.
