Rhona Trauvitch is an English professor at Florida International University. Trauvitch specializes in intersections of literature and science — those that manifest in science fiction, and those that enable fiction-science (or, “fi-sci”) pattern mapping.

Mathew D. Staver is an American lawyer and former Seventh-day Adventist pastor. Formerly, he was dean of Liberty University’s Law School. He founded Liberty Counsel in 1989 and serves as chairman. He advocated for Harold Shurtleff in Shurtleff v. Boston.

Chrissy Stroop is a senior correspondent for Religion Dispatches, columnist for Open Democracy, co-editor of Empty the Pews: Stories of Leaving the Church and commentator on religion and politics, the U.S. Christian right, Russia and foreign policy. 

Catherine L. Newell is associate professor of religion and science at the University of Miami. Newell is a scholar of the conjoined histories of religion and science (specifically technology, ecology and medicine). She is particularly interested in how scientific paradigms frequently owe their genesis to a religious idea or spiritual belief.

Sally Karioth is a faculty member of the Florida State University College of Nursing. She teaches one of the university’s most popular courses, called ”Death, the Individual and the Family.”

Erin Prophet is a lecturer in the religion department at the University of Florida. She studies cults and New Religious Movements.

Joseph E. Uscinski is a professor at the University of Miami whose research includes conspiracy theories. He co-authored the book Conspiracy Theories: A Primer, which examines why people believe in them.

Eduardo Gamarra is a politics and international relations professor at Florida International University. He is also the director of the school’s Latino Public Opinion Forum.
