The International Humanist and Ethical Union (IHEU) was founded in Amsterdam in 1952. Based in London, it is an international umbrella organization which embraces humanist, atheist, rationalist, secularist, skeptic, laique, ethical cultural, freethought and similar views and causes. It maintains a vision of a humanist world “in which human rights are respected and everyone is able to live a life of dignity.” Gary McLelland is the IHEU president. Contact through the website.
