Jonathan A. Anderson is an artist, art critic and associate professor of art at Biola University in La Mirada, Calif. With William Dyrness he is the co-author of Modern Art and the Life of a Culture: The Religious Impulses of Modernism, which examines modern art’s engagement with Christian theology.
