Peter Millican is the Gilbert Ryle Fellow and Professor of Philosophy at Hertford College, Oxford University. His research focuses on the life and work of Scottish philosopher David Hume,philosophy’s connections to politics, society, religion and science and the creationism versus evolution debate. He is a member of the Humanist Philosophers Group.
