Hindu Mandir Executives’ Conference (HMEC) is an annual initiative seeking development of network between the executives of all Hindu mandirs of America. HMEC strives to create a Hindu-American community rooted in its traditions and enhancing the American society. Contact is Tejal Shah.

Horace L. Griffin is an associate professor of pastoral theology at Pacific School of Religion in Berkeley, Calif. He has written several scholarly articles on theology and homosexuality.

The Temple Committee Against Human Trafficking was launched in 2005 by Temple Emanu-El-Beth Sholom in Westmount, Quebec, and believes it is the only synagogue-based organization working full time against human trafficking and prostitution. The committee works with abolitionist organizations in Canada, the U.S. and Israel.

Rabbi Rachel Kahn-Troster is director of North American programs for T’ruah, formerly known as Rabbis for Human Rights — North America. She has spoken internationally on behalf of the U.S. State Department about human trafficking. She lives in Teaneck, N.J.

Robert A.J. Gagnon is an associate professor of New Testament at Pittsburgh Theological Seminary in Pennsylvania. His expertise is in sexual teachings in the Bible, with a focus on homosexuality.
