John D. Loike is a research scientist in the department of biomedical engineering at Columbia University, focusing on bioethics, stem cells, cloning and the interplay between science and religion. Ruha Benjamin is an associate professor in the department of African-American studies at Princeton University. Leonard M. Fleck is a professor in the Center for Ethics and Humanities in the Life Sciences and the department of philosophy at Michigan State University. He studies how decisions are made about controversial medical advancements, including genetic technologies.
