Ruby Bridges Hall

Ruby Bridges Hall founded the Ruby Bridges Foundation in 1999 out of her experience in 1960 as the first black child to attend an all-white elementary school. The foundation, based in New Orleans, promotes tolerance, respect and acceptance of differences. She is also co-chair of A Campaign for Forgiveness Research.

Awareness Center

The Awareness Center was the Jewish Coalition Against Sexual Abuse/Assault, an international organization that addresses sexual violence in Jewish communities. It had a certification program for rabbis interested in working with victims of sexual violence. It closed in 2014, but the site is still provided for educational and historical purposes.
