Erik Nielson is an associate professor of liberal arts at the University of Richmond in Richmond, Va. He is co-editor of The Hip Hop and Obama Reader , and beginning in spring 2018 he and hip-hop artist Mad Skillz will co-teach a class on hip-hop and politics. Joerg Rieger is a professor of Wesleyan studies and theology at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee, as well as an ordained elder in the United Methodist Church. Eric Kurlander is a professor of history at Stetson University in DeLand, Fla. He is the author of Hitler’s Monsters: A Supernatural History of the Third Reich and is at work on another book about religion, science and the Third Reich.
