Farr Curlin is a professor of medical humanities at Duke Divinity School. He’s also a hospice and palliative care physician. Curlin studies the role religion plays in a doctor’s clinical decisions and the relationship between religion and medicine more broadly.

Andrew Harman is an associate professor of applied medical sciences at the University of Sydney. He’s also a meditation teacher at the Sydney Buddhist Centre.

S. Joshua Swamidass is an associate professor of pathology and immunology at Washington University in St. Louis. He served as science adviser to Concordia Seminary from 2015 to 2017.

Felipe Sierra is director of the division of aging biology at the National Institute on Aging.

Micah Redding is the founder and executive director of the Christian Transhumanist Association and host of the Christian Transhumanist Podcast. He has published numerous essays and articles on the relationship between religion and transhumanism.

Amy Michelle DeBaets is an assistant professor of medical humanities and clinical bioethics at Oakland University in Rochester, Mich. She serves as co-chair of the American Academy of Religion’s Human Enhancement and Transhumanism Unit.
