Grants cover travel costs for planned international reporting projects, preferably those involving photography, radio, video and print. Emphasis on issues under-reported or unreported in U.S. media. Project work to be disseminated among U.S. media outlets.

Open to journalists, public policy practitioners, activists, academics and others from around the world. Applicants propose innovative solutions to open society challenges. Full-time fellows receive a stipend of $80,000 or $100,000. Most fellowships last one year.
