Kathy Manis Findley is executive director of Safe Places, a group that shelters and advocates for victims of sexual abuse, domestic violence and human trafficking in Little Rock, Ark. She routinely works with clergy on the issue.

Robert Hanser is the head of the criminal justice department and the assistant professor of criminal justice at the University of Louisiana at Monroe.

Brittney Thomas is director of the Kentucky branch of Not for Sale: Re-Abolish Slavery. She says she believes that with increased awareness, human trafficking can be extinguished within her lifetime.

Gene Thursby is an associate professor of religion at the University of Florida in Gainesville. He co-edited The Hindu World.

Rachel Braver is the coordinator of the North Carolina Coalition Against Human Trafficking, a coalition of state agencies and nonprofit groups that respond to human trafficking violations in the state.

Tom Gillan is with the Office of Criminal Justice for Catholic Charities of Central Florida. He is part of a three-person team that conducts workshops on recognizing and combating human trafficking for NGOs and nonprofits in Central Florida. The local diocese operates a juvenile justice program through the office.

Austin New Church of Austin, Texas, is involved in the fight against human trafficking.
