The Rev. Nancy Wittig was one of the “Philadelphia Eleven,” the first 11 women ordained by the Episcopal Church in 1974. She is now retired but works part time as an assisting minister at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church in Lakewood, Ohio.

Heather Beaudoin is a national organizer for Equal Justice USA, a grassroots organization that focuses on repealing the death penalty. She handles the organization’s outreach to conservative religious groups and has experience with evangelicals. She is based in Kalamazoo, Mich.

Catholic Mobilizing Network to End the Use of the Death Penalty advocates for elimination of the death penalty because it conflicts with Catholic teachings about the sanctity of life. The organization has offices in Washington, D.C., and at Mount St. Mary’s University in Emmitsburg, Md. Karen Clifton is executive director.

Maria Thornton McClain is a Catholic Womanpriest who leads St. Mary of Magdala Catholic Community in Indianapolis.

The Rev. Ingrid Wang is pastor at Bethel United Methodist Church in Upper Marlboro, Md., and leader of the Asian American and Pacific Islander United Methodist Clergywomen Association.

The Rev. Constance Pak is a United Methodist Church pastor and leader of its United Methodist Association of Korean Clergywomen. She currently serves at Lake Ronkonkoma United Methodist Church in Lake Grove, N.Y.

The Rev. Cristian De La Rosa is a clinical assistant professor of contextual theology and practice and director of contextual education and community partnerships at Boston University’s School of Theology. She is also head of the United Methodist Church’s Hispanic/Latina Methodist Clergywomen’s group.

The Rev. Anita Philips is an ordained minister in the United Methodist Church and heads its Native American United Methodist Clergywomen’s group. She serves in its Oklahoma Indian Missionary Conference.
