Rabbi Jack Moline is president of Interfaith Alliance in Washington, D.C., as well as an adjunct faculty member of the Jewish Theological Seminary and the Virginia Theological Seminary. He’s spent much of his career creating common ground between people of diverse religious and secular backgrounds and speaks out often on religious freedom issues and faith-related policies.

Farr Curlin is a professor of medical humanities at Duke Divinity School. He’s also a hospice and palliative care physician. Curlin studies the role religion plays in a doctor’s clinical decisions and the relationship between religion and medicine more broadly.

Michael Hout is director of the Center for Advanced Social Science Research at New York University, where he also teaches sociology. He has studied and written on the rise of the nonreligious and is the author or co-author of multiple books, including Century of Difference: How America Changed in the Last One Hundred Years.

Rachel Heath is a doctoral candidate at Vanderbilt University, where she researches multiple religious belonging.

Rebecca Catto is an assistant professor of sociology at Kent State University in Ohio. She studies the interplay between religion and secularism in North America and Europe.
