The International Jewish Community of Moscow was founded in 2000. It  provides a center for Moscow’s Jewish population, and for Jewish tourists. It hosts regular Shabbat and holiday services, kosher dining, and educational services. It is based on the Chabad-Lubavitch philosophy.

The Jewish Community of Japan provides a center for Japan’s Jewish population. It hosts regular Shabbat and holiday services, kosher dining and educational services. It is based in Tokyo.

Dan Cohn-Sherbok is an honorary professor of history at the University of Aberystwyth and and  visiting professor at St Mary’s University College, London. He is the author and editor of over 70 books on Judaism, including On Earth as it is in Heaven: Jews, Christians, and Liberation Theology, Issues in Contemporary Judaism, and An Atlas of Jewish History.

Rabbi Melissa B. Simon is director of lifelong learning at Shir Tikvah in Minneapolis. She was previously a rabbinical intern at Congregation Beth Simchat Torah in New York City, an LGBT-specific synagogue, where she led some of the congregation’s services for LGBT people. She is an advocate for LGBT rights.

Rabbi Laurie Green is the rabbi at Congregation Bet Mishpachah, a congregation for LGBT Jews and others in Washington, D.C.
