Brian Childs is director of clinical ethics and spiritual care for Shore Health System in the University of Maryland Medical System. He has researched how forgiveness training impacts the mental and physical health of AIDS patients. His dissertation at Princeton Theological Seminary explored forgiveness among preschool children.

Frederick A. DiBlasio is a professor at the University of Maryland School of Social Work whose research and practice focuses on the clinical use of forgiveness, particularly within families and marriages. His model on decision-based forgiveness has been proved to be an effective treatment for helping people forgive.

Stanley Carlson-Thies is founder and senior director of the Institutional Religious Freedom Alliance, which has called for a “Fairness for All” approach to religious freedom and LGBTQ rights. He previously worked on faith-based initiatives for the George W. Bush and Barack Obama administrations.

Peter Leone is a professor of special education at the University of Maryland and the project director of the National Center on Education, Disability and Juvenile Justice.

Jennifer Wiseman is an astronomer and director of the Dialogue on Science, Ethics and Religion for the American Association for the Advancement of Science. She is also an astrophysicist and studies the formation of stars and planets.
