Nasser Hussain is assistant professor of law, jurisprudence and social thought at Amherst College in Amherst, Mass. He co-edited Forgiveness, Mercy and Clemency (2007) and teaches the courses Law, God and Modernity and When Law Fails.

Rodney L. Petersen is executive director of the Boston Theological Institute, which offers a certificate program in religion and conflict transformation that includes forgiveness training. Stephen Goldsmith is Daniel Paul Professor of Government and director of the Innovations in American Government program at Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government. He was a special adviser to President George W. Bush on faith-based initiatives. A former mayor of Indianapolis, Goldsmith is the author of Putting Faith in Neighborhoods: Making Cities Work Through Grassroots Citizenship.

Robert Pollin is a professor of economics at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and co-director of the university’s Political Economy Research Institute. He is co-author of The Living Wage: Building a Fair Economy. Read a June 2003 paper he wrote evaluating the impact of living-wage policies in a number of U.S. cities.

Richard B. Freeman is the Herbert S. Ascherman professor of economics at Harvard University in Cambridge. He also directs the Labor Studies Program at the National Bureau of Economic Research. Freeman has written that research shows that increasing the minimum wages has little or no effect on the number of jobs available.
